Any device that records the date may be affected. You may have to set a date like February 29, 2000 or manually correct for any date error recorded on a printed record or tape.
The errors should be minimal. These devices do not typically do any form of date arithmetic. Even if the machine displays the year 2000 as 00 and internally considers the date to be 1900, the affect on the record may be rationalized and corrected manually if needed.
Our anesthesia machine is all mechanical. There are no electronic components and thus no clock or date functions.
