For the most part it appears that the phones within the clinic, including many phone systems will not be affected by the year 2000 and beyond. If your phone system is older AND relatively sophisticated, you should check with a reputable phone system installer to see if your system is okay, or not okay and whether or not there is a "patch" available to make the equipment Y2K compliant. As a precaution you may want to make a connection for an old style phone -- rotary or push button type. |
