Data falls into several categories:
You need to understand the difference between each category and have procedures to deal with data that is not in the Good category. Also, bear in mind that data is not classified as "information" until or unless it has value. Some things are known but unimportant. We choose to not enter data that has no chance of future value to the clinic or the medical record. |
