We consider referral letters or visit summary reports provided to the client to be our number one marketing tool.
We do not use yellow page advertising to attract clients. We rely on referrals from veterinarians and believe that keeping them informed and happy is "Job 1".
We use a visit summary report to provide written information and instruction where a verbal instruction could be forgotten in part or completely.
It is our opinion that many decisions are made by the client at home, not at the clinic. Sometimes (possibly often) the "decision maker" is not the one that comes to the clinic. Think about how a written summary report of the visit may be used during a family discussion that could lead to an expensive surgery being requested.
